LMC 50th Anniversary
2009 saw the 50th anniversary of Lincoln Mountaineering Club.A fantastic journal has been written charting the clubs history from 1959 to 2009.The celebrations culminated in the anniversary dinner held at the Royal Goat Hotel in Beddgelert.
Message from the President of the LMC, Keith Archer;
The 50th anniversary of the formation of the LMC has given the Club the opportunity to bring together some of the stories and facts for the first time. Most of these articles haven't seen the light of day in many, many years and will be new to a lot of readers and I'm sure, like myself, you'll see how much like us more recent members the early members were. Of course it's not all older material; the Journal charts the activities and members up to the present.
